Marinated Figs

8 figs

4stp red wine vinegar

1tsp finely chopped garlic

1tblsp hemp oil

1tblsp balsamic

1 lemon juice and zest.

Method:

  1. Mix all the wet ingredients together
  2. take the tiny tips off the figs and cut into quarters
  3. Put the marinade over the figs and make sure you coat all the figs – leave for a few hours or overnight to take on the flavours.

Serve hot or cold, alone or with parma ham etc…
